The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to promote the upcoming bout.
Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently being planned for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the customary face-off, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really proceeding.
